Aka “Tib”, or “Uncle Katib” for the local sea gypsies children. Working for the Chumchonthai Foundation on community development of the sea gypsies ethnic groups and Thai displaced persons. Originally from Chiang Rai. After the Tsunami, I volunteered to go South to help the Moken people who live in Koh Lao, Koh Chang, Koh Phayam in Ranong, and Koh Surin in Phang Nga with their legal statuses. While working with the the sea gypsies' community (Moken, Moklen, Urak Lawoi), I encourage and mentor them to stand up and speak their stories to the society.
